Ekaya Fresh Food Hub (“we”) is the kitchen you order from, and the business responsible for your information. ekayafoods.com is built and run for us by Opryon Labs, who operate the software and messaging on our behalf and do not use your information for anything of their own. This page explains what we collect and what we do with it. We keep it short because we genuinely don't collect much.

What we collect

• Account details — your name, email address and profile picture, received from Google when you choose to sign in.
• Order details — what you ordered, your delivery or pickup address, and your phone number, so we can actually cook and hand over your food.
• Anything you write — reviews, order notes and messages you send us.

What we do with it

• Prepare and hand over your order.
• Contact you about that order if something is unclear.
• Show you your own order history and saved addresses.
• Send offers only if you opted in. You can opt out any time.

What we never do

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We never see or store your card details — we currently take cash and UPI only.

Messages we send you

If you give us your phone number, we use it to reach you about your own order — confirming it, telling you it is ready, or asking something we need to know before cooking. Where you have WhatsApp, some of those updates and any sign-in codes are sent through the WhatsApp Business Platform, which means Meta delivers the message on our behalf.

These are messages about something you asked us for, not marketing. Offers are separate, go only to people who opted in, and you can stop them at any time without affecting your order updates.

How we measure the site

We use PostHog to understand how the site is used — which dishes get looked at, where people give up before ordering, whether the menu works on a phone. It sets a cookie so we can tell a returning visit from a new one.

We have deliberately turned off session recording, heatmaps and automatic click capture, so we are not watching you use the site. If you never sign in, you stay an anonymous number to us. If you do sign in, we connect your orders to your account so we can help when you call.

Who else touches your data

Opryon Labs, who build and run this site for us; our website hosting and database providers; PostHog, for the usage measurement described above; Google, if you choose to sign in with it; Zomato, if you follow the link to order there instead; and Meta, for WhatsApp messages. Each of them processes data on our behalf so the service works, and nothing more.
