We never meant to open a kitchen.
घर जैसा स्वाद
It started the way most good food does — cooking a little extra, because someone was coming over.
Then it was a neighbour asking if we could make parathas for a Sunday breakfast. Then a family down the road wanting dal and rice on a day nobody felt like cooking. Then enough people asking often enough that it stopped being a favour and started being a kitchen.
So in Somdutt Enclave, opposite KL International School, we put up a counter and a phone number. That is genuinely the whole origin story. There was no business plan and there is still no central kitchen — just the same stove, the same recipes and the same stubbornness about buying vegetables fresh every single morning.
What we decided early was what we would not do. No frozen gravy bases. No cooking a batch at noon and selling it at nine. No “pure veg” that quietly means something else. Those shortcuts are how a kitchen scales, and they're exactly what makes food stop tasting like home.
Our whole promise fits in three words on the board outside: घर जैसा स्वाद. Food that tastes like home. We just have to keep earning it, one order at a time.

Three rules we don't bend.
Bought fresh, every morning
Vegetables come from the morning market, not a cold room. Curd is set the same day it's served. If we can't get it fresh, it's off the menu that day — which is why you'll occasionally see something sold out.
Cooked after you order
Nothing sits in a warmer waiting for a customer. That's the honest reason a paratha takes fifteen minutes and a shahi paneer takes twenty-five. It's also the reason it tastes the way it does.
Pure veg, no asterisk
One kitchen, one set of utensils, one rule. No egg, no meat, no shared oil, no separate section around the back. If that matters to your family, it matters to ours.
Come taste the difference.
The menu is short on purpose. Everything on it, we make properly.
